This is a preliminary set of notes from Stephen Wass following a day going over the park with the intention of progressing further survey work. Unfortunately a grant application to support this work didn’t come about, but we are still hopeful on some possible future work with Stephen. You can see some very interesting points made just in the day he had in the park and gives an amazing insight as to what the park could one day still reveal.
Stephen Wass, operating as Polyolbion Archeology, is a nationally recognised archeologist, working on a number of national projects, some local and has written books.
